A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth eu news live About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
